Q1.  How do I log into the PMIAtlanta.Org Site upon Go Live?

A: Please use the same credentials that you setup in PMIATLANTA.ORG.

Q2: When is the GoLive?

A: The Website Cutover plan will start at 9pm EST on Tue, 17th June 2014 and it may take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours.

Q3: Will I be able to register for the events during the Migration?

A: Yes, until 9pm EST 9pm EST on Tue, 17th June 2014.

Q4: What will happen if I register with old/current site and will it be transferred to the new site?

A: Yes, it will be transferred as the old site information will still be availabel to the Technology Team.

Q5: Whom should I contact for Help , if I have a trouble logging into the site?

A: Announcement will be on the site, if it is a Known issue;  if it is particular to your login credentials, then please Create a ticket here if it is pretty urgent and cannot wait for 4 to 8 hrs, then escalate the issue to Shannon Holstein-Guianen at 614-440-7588.  You can also cc the escalation ticket to our team for any follow-up.

Q6: Whom should I contact if there are any Credit Card or Billing issues?

A: Please email to our team with the description of the issues.

Q7: Whom should I contact for any refund or credit for the events?

A: Please contact the organizer of the event such as Porgrams, CERT ED, Forums, etc.  Please see this page to route to the appropriate teams.

Q8: How will I get the Certificate of Completion to gain the PDU?

A: Please ensure to talk to the Registration desk to mark your attendance. An email will be sent out once the Attendance Marking is completed; in case of any such issues, please contact our team.

Q9. Will I be able to Login and record my PDU?

A: Yes, it is the new feature via SSO - Single Sign On to get into PMI.ORG and click CCRS to record it.

Q10. I am a new member and how do I sign up?

A: Please click the LOGIN button to sign up as a New User for PMI Atlanta.

 Q11. Where can I get more info if the above answers for Login is NOT resolved?

A: Please click the Home Page or click the PMI Atlanta Chapter ICON on the top left corner to go to Home Page; then see the information given under the heading called LOGIN TROUBLE on the left hand side panel.  This will also give more information about clearing the cache/cookies or alternative login, if the SSO does not work.

Q12. Can I subscribe to only few Newsletters /Chapter Communication?

A: Yes, this will be a new feature provided in the New Website, where you can Opt-In or Opt-Out to few select Newsletter/ communications.   Again, there are few variations for both Members and Non-Members. Please stay tuned for more information from VP of Communications in this regard.

Q13. What if I don't have a PayPal account or I am not registered with PayPal?

A: PayPal will still accept the Debit or Credit cards or AMEX ; There is a link in PayPal that says Pay with a debit or credit card, where you can use your credit/debit cards or AMEX to register for the events.  Bottom line is: You don't need to be an account holder with PayPal or You don't need to be registered with PayPal.  Hope this helps; The Technology Team could answer any specific questions in this regard.  Kindly send an email our team for your specicic concerns/issues related to PayPal;  In near future, we also will bring Authorize.NET to pay directly via Credit/Debit cards too.  Kindly stay tuned.

Q14. What are the New Features of this New Website?

  • Search capability on the Top Right Hand Corner to search any events or current /archived documents, etc.
  • Automated Newsletters with easy Opt-In and Opt-Out features.  See Stay Informed on the left hand side panel from the Home Page.
  • Introduction of PayPal & Authorize.NET to Register for our Future Events including Mobile Walk-In Registration (July'14).
  • Easy to Use Home Page Contents with Upcoming Events for Easy Navigation and Easy Registration.
  • Unlimited Emails with PMIAtlanta.ORG domain for our Leadership and Volunteer team members.
  • Optimized for viewing on your Desktop, Laptop, or Tablet, as well as Smartphones.
  • Improved interfacing for Social Media utilization.  You can see Social Media ICONs in the Front page, RSS feed to share with your Professional Colleagues and Friends & Family.
  • One stop shop for all Technology needs of our Chapter to benefit the Members at large.
  • Seamless integration with the PMI.ORG global web site through a Single Sign-On feature (SSO)
  • Links for frequently used services from PMI are provided:
      • MyPMI (PMI Profile): Link Directly to global PMI.ORG, if you have already signed in this site ; i.e., it is SSO - Single Sign On; no need to log back into PMI.ORG again. Please use the same login credentials as PMI.ORG.
      • VRMS -- All about Global Volunteering. Register if you are interested to Volunteer with our Chapter.  We always need people like you.
      • CCRS -- Record your PDUs and take the advantage of SSO capability to navigate from PMIATLANTA.ORG.
      • My Account -- see your information.
      • My Registrations : This will provide the list of events that you are registered so far.

Q15. There is no HOME button.  How do I navigate to HOME Page? 

A: Click the PMIATLANTA Logo on the top left hand corner, which will take you back to HOME page.

Q16. I am not a PMI Atlanta Member and can I Opt-In or Opt-Out for the Chapter Communications?

A: Yes.  Please see Stay Informed box on the left hand side panel from the Home page.  Some portion here are stil WIP by our Communications team.  Please stay tuned for more information.

Q17. Why am I not able to view the Website correctly in Internet Explorer Browser?

A: First, there was a problem in Day 1; Corrected it;  if you are still having any issues, then pl adjust the screen resolution to 1280x1024.  If you are still facing the issues, please contact our team.
