There is no such thing as a “moral victory” in the project management environment. To be sure, every project stakeholder should gain key lessons learned from every endeavor, yet – in the end – we must invariably deliver the product, service, or result expected from the project.

Entrepreneurship, like project management, is more than just coming up with creative ideas or simply implementing a project. It is about innovation. Innovation is a combination of invention and commercialization. In other words, a great invention is just an idea if you cannot bring it to market. In the project management world, a concept or a charter (invention) is merely an idea until it is implemented as expected while meeting real-world needs (commercialization).

In “Project Entrepreneurship: Incorporating Innovative Strategies into Projects”, participants will gain insight into how the principles of entrepreneurship can be used to improve project delivery.

Topics covered in this forward-thinking seminar include:
• Alignment of Entrepreneurship and Effective Project Management
• Market Identification and Project Stakeholder Assessment
• Reality of the Business Case; To Continue or Not Continue
• Creative Thought Processes in a Project Environment
• Key Pitfalls and Considerations of New Ventures and Projects
Course objectives:
• To learn methods for incorporating the entrepreneur mindset into the project environment
• To employ steps that help better segment your key stakeholder market
• To identify items that must be considered when developing a project business case
• To incorporate “think outside the box” thought into the project environment

Who should attend:
This seminar is for anyone who wants to bring creative thought into their project leadership activities.
