BiographyJames Lydia

Lydia James is the Sr. Director – Assistant General Manager for Manheim’s Digital Marketplace, the digital wholesale auto auction for Cox Enterprises. In this capacity, she is responsible for building the largest digital wholesale auto auction by leading the strategic direction to increase digital market share, transactions and improving the customer experience. Her background includes more than a decade of experience across multiple industries - public and private sectors. Lydia served in the United States Air Force, Raytheon Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton and The Home Depot where she was successful leading enterprise solutions, mergers and acquisitions through technology and process management. She is a certified Project Management Professional, Change Manager and a Six Sigma Green Belt with extensive accomplishments in root cause identification and translating business strategies into technology solutions.

Lydia holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Regis University.


Vision

For almost two years Lydia has served as the VP of Volunteer for PMI Atlanta and is passionate about delivering value to the volunteer base. Lydia’s vision is to cultivate engaged volunteers that will learn, grow, inspire, connect with other professional and give back to the PMI community.  Additionally, volunteers are the heartbeat of PMI, a key goal is to reward and recognize volunteers for their contribution and dedication.
