Biography
Delton Zimmerman has being serving the project management communities the last two years as VP of Finance for PMI Atlanta. He is an accomplished finance professional with over 15 years of management experience executing operations, finance and accounting functions while contributing quickly to achieve target results for various companies likes Engineering Associates, Inc., Wrigley Manufacturing Co., UPS Supply Chain Supply, Automatic Data Processing, Inc., GE Capital-TMS, and Atlanta Public Schools.
Delton have a good understanding of the chapter current and future challenges and well qualified to improve existing processes and support the future board with creative problem solving solutions that focus on growing the chapter membership base and enhance the quality of events our members attend.
As for membership and activities. Delton also volunteer with others organization; Georgia Society of CPAs – Minority Issues Task Force (2011-Current): The group sponsors a various of Lunch and Learn forum designed to give minority students an idea of the breadth of opportunity an accounting degree and CPA designation can provide. As well, Big Brother Big Sister of Metro Atlanta (2008-Current): Mentors who make a BIG difference in the lives of their Little’s.
Delton received his MBA from University of Phoenix, Atlanta, GA. He is an avid photographer, reader, exerciser, and traveler.
