BiographySisto Joe

I grew up in Chicago, but I have been living in the Atlanta area for 20 years. My Bachelor's degree is in Management, and I have a Masters in Psychology from Argosy University, Atlanta Campus. I have been a project manager since 1987 and I have been in Management Consulting as a career for over 25 years. My focus has been growing people and capability for management of projects across a variety of organizations.

My career has been devoted to management consulting in the area of systems and technology. Over the last five years, my focus has been on building organization knowledge of project and program management concepts and culture at Intercontinental Hotels Group and at Daugherty Business Solutions.

I am a single father of 1 girl, and I live in Duluth, GA. My hobbies include playing guitar, and working on cars.


Vision

My vision for PMI Atlanta is to continue to expand our presence among our members and partners and provide more and better services for PMI to provide our membership. We have great events and speakers, along with special interest groups.

I hope to inspire others to grow project management capabilities and professionalism in our corporate and government partners and companies here in Atlanta and show other organizations how they can benefit from encouraging education and participation and PMI Atlanta. In terms of goals, I would like to expand membership, and attendance at our events and learning opportunities, as well as corporate involvement.

My work style is as a "Servant-Based Leader" I like to help the people create value, network and generate new ideas to help leverage new members and methods of communications.
