 The PMI Atlanta Entertainment Forum is focused on expanding knowl
 edge and appreciation of Project Management and its benefits in unconventi
 onal fields by providing informational\, educational\, and networking even
 ts for individuals in various roles in the entertainment industry.&nbsp\;

 
 The entertainment industry encompasses those businesses involved in prov
 iding entertainment to audiences across a wide range of platforms and expe
 riences. This includes media such as film\, television\, radio\, and theat
 er\; the music industry\; sports\; fine arts\; and digital entertainment\,
  including gaming.

 Live Events require a lo
 t of pre-planning to execute. Every show is unique in scope\, equipment\, 
 and challenges\, but a core system is necessary to manage timelines and re
 sources. A timeline for one show is a lot to manage\, now think about taki
 ng on 5-10 at a time\, that is the task for our Project Managers!
 We are
  a growing company and now have operations across the country. Each operat
 ing location has their own way of getting a show out the door\, but the on
 ly way to scale is to unify\, that’s where I come in. As Director of Pro
 duction\, I am working closely with all our operating locations to adapt a
  system that works well for one\, to work well for them all\, while not up
 setting the people and everyday work being done. The goal is consistency f
 or our teams and our clients\, even as we grow\; every show is important a
 nd needs to be handled thoroughly with care and thoughtfulness.
