 ng! The first thing you need to do is prepare to write a resume.
 A job s
 earch is like a trip. If you decide to go on a trip with the only criteria
  - I want to go somewhere that will be fun - with a destination (or if you
  have a destination\, without directions)\, you will get lost - and may no
 t even get to where you want to go. Even if you do find your destination\,
  it will take much longer than if you first researched where you really wa
 nted to go and got a map on how to get there.
 It is the same thing with 
 a job search. A resume is only one part of this search - it contains direc
 tions (information) for potential employers to select you for the intervie
 w. It does not get you the job. You must be able to put in the right infor
 mation for the employer to identify that you are the right person they wan
 t to interview for the job you really want to do. If you don’t identify 
 what you want to do and don’t include the information the employer needs
  to find you\, your resume will not be a great one.
