Presentation
Being a project manager is not just a job pushing schedules, we are leaders in our organizations. This topic will cover how you can create strong leaders who are great project managers. Attendees will learn how to empower teams to launch initiatives aligned to a defined scope, timeline, and cost.
Biography
Karen White is a Director of Program Management at Cox Communications. She has extensive experience in program management, people leadership, capital portfolio planning, strategic planning, roadmap development, system development, and product launches. Karen has a Masters Certificate from George Washington University, and has earned her EMBA from the University of Missouri. Karen is also a Cox LEAD Leader who grooms recent college graduates for careers in Project Management. She is focused on developing transferable skills for Project Management Professionals to get them ready for the rest of their careers!
LEAD is a rotational leadership program focused on the project management discipline. Project Management is where relationships, knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques connect – empowering teams to launch initiatives aligned to a defined scope, timeline and cost. Karen is focused on developing transferable skills for Project Management Professionals to get them ready for the rest of their careers!
