Description:

One of the greatest challenges Project Managers face is fostering innovation while still practicing critical thinking and logical decision-making. The Critical Thinking Process guides Project Managers through all the phases of generating and evaluating new ideas, and can help them solve problems using rational thought and logical decision-making. Using the Critical Thinking Process, these modules will help you and your team learn to pinpoint opportunities for improvement, brainstorm creatively, logically evaluate options, and make informed decisions that will lead to success. The tools discussed will help you become proactive instead of reactive in the face of problems and move from possibilities to solutions!

Critical thinking is rapidly becoming an essential skill for success as a Project Manager in today’s workplace. Although it comes naturally for some, critical thinking is an ability that anyone can learn and practice. Analyzing problems and making deliberate, yet timely decisions, are factors that determine the success or failure of a Project Manager and ultimately an organization. This 1-day program provides a step-by-step guide through the Critical Thinking Process, beginning with identifying problems and ending with gaining cooperation from others.

This program presents the opportunity to develop the following skills:

Creative Thinking – Introduces techniques to generate innovative ideas using idea fluency
Logical Thinking – Provides methods to critically evaluate alternative solutions.
