Nara Acharya is an Assistant Director at Ernst and Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology, with a broad background in project/program management, technology consulting, systems integration and software development. Nara has worked in the telecommunications, financial services, healthcare and retail industries and has extensive client-facing experience, leading and managing cross functional, geographically distributed teams.

Nara has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India and an M.S. in Systems Science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. Nara has been an active member of the PMI Atlanta Chapter since 2009, serving in leadership roles in Marketing, Sponsorship and Community Outreach and has been on the chapter’s board since 2015. He is an alumni of PMI’s 2017 Leadership Institute Master Class. In his spare time, Nara volunteers with his sons' Boy Scouts troop, his employer EY’s community service activities and follows LSU sports. A metro Atlanta resident since 1996, he lives with his wife and twin boys in Alpharetta, GA.
