The Education Program through PMI Atlanta is a dedicated community working to bring project management skills to teachers and students. The program introduces advance project management as a life style tool, a practice and as a profession in the Atlanta Metro Area. Organization, time management, collaboration and creativity are key project management tools as well as essential components that aid in everyday activities. Our program provides scholarships, speakers, tool kits, and opportunities to work on real world problems for students and educators. The program is proactive reaching out to middle and high schools as well as colleges and universities.
Our education program is supported by volunteers who share their experiences, exciting projects, growth and success techniques. The Atlanta metro area is a rich business community and home to several fortune 500 corporations. Our program life cycle seeks individuals from within the strong Atlanta business community to mentor students and educators who in turn form or become the future for those businesses. The program is designed to introduce project management fundamentals, to prepare students for success in life, and to help students be competitive in the 21st century work force.
