Presenter Biography:

Maggi DanaFor over 15 years, Dana Maggi has worked as a senior career coach in the Atlanta office of Lee Hecht Harrison. In this role, she consults with employees affected by involuntary career transition and assists them in executing a successful job search campaign while developing lifelong career management skills. She also teaches courses in job search strategy and delivers career and leadership development programs on-site at Fortune 500 companies.

Dana has extensive experience consulting with clients who are exploring alternative career paths and retirement options. She has served on the committee to lead social media strategy for the Southeastern region and facilitates courses in the advanced uses of LinkedIn.

Dana brings to this role significant experience in human resources, employee training, leadership development, and career counseling in for-profit and academic settings. Before joining LHH, she managed the human resource department for a university with 1,100 full-time employees. While in higher education, she developed an innovative technical training program for faculty and staff that received national recognition. Prior to that, she consulted with a private firm that specialized in assisting clients with disabilities to make career transitions. Dana also has worked with individuals and groups as a counselor in private practice.

Dana holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Georgia State University and completed her undergraduate work in Education at Eastern Washington University. She is a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the DiSC assessment and several of the Mastery Works Career and Leadership Development programs.
