Traditionally, project management (PM) applications focused predominantly within certain industries, including construction, engineering and telecommunications. In recent years, tangible benefits of PM applications has expanded and garnered acceptance across several non-traditional sectors.
The U.S. healthcare system and clinical research enterprise involves various stakeholders (providers, patients, insurance and pharmaceutical companies, CROs, government agencies, etc.), and offers enormous opportunities of PM solutions that directly impact quality, affordability (timeliness and costs) and efficiency.
Dr. Okon brings a system-lens perspective and PM solutions within the context of US healthcare system and clinical research.
