Architectural, Engineering, & Construction (Virtual) Forum - 221011"How to Prevent Risky Business in Supply Chain Facilities" by Stephen (Steve) T. Hopper, PE, Founder & Principal at Inviscid ConsultingThe PMI Atlanta AEC Forum is a focus group that hosts regular events with ranging topics in the architectural, engineering, and construction fields. We will show the importance of solid project management in these related fields of study. Presentation DetailsManaging risks “inside the four walls” can dramatically reduce or eliminate the likelihood that production‐stopping incidents will occur. And doing so can minimize the impact of these risks if they do occur. This educational session will outline a simplified Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) approach to identifying, prioritizing, remediating, and mitigating common risks inside supply chain facilities, such as warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. Specific examples from facilities where this approach has been followed will be discussed. |
