Are you interested in attaining the PMI-PMP® certification? This 4-day instructor-led workshop will cover review and preparation materials for the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam. It is intended for those preparing for PMI PMP® certification, especially for those who plan to take the PMP® Exam before March 26, 2018, when the PMP® Exam changes to a new version (using the PMBOK® Guide (Sixth Edition). This is the last opportunity to pass the PMI-PMP® Exam before the Exam changes on March 26, 2018.

Course materials that will be provided for each student include course hand-outs and the book: Rita Mulcahy’s PMP® Exam Prep (Eighth Edition—Updated) with practice test questions. Participants who are PMI members are required to use their own soft copy of the PMBOK® Guide (Fifth Edition). Non-members are encouraged to become PMI members before the class starts to be entitled to download their own soft copy of the PMBOK® Guide (Fifth Edition).

Class participants earn 35 PDUs training hours required to qualify for the PMP® Exam. PMP® credential holders earn 35 (Technical) PDUs. The class hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 training hours / day for four days), including a one-hour working lunch. Class participants will have a 15-minute break to purchase food for lunch and bring their food for lunch to the classroom for a working lunch time. Continental breakfast and afternoon refreshments will be provided.

Who Should Attend?

Project Management Practitioners (including Project Managers, Program Managers, Analysts, Developers, Testers, IT Managers/Directors, Software Engineers, Software Architects, Software Managers, Testing Managers, Team Leaders) who intend to take the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam.

Instructor

Vahni Mitra, MBA, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, CSM has held various leadership and project management positions for several years in both private and public service organizations, in both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors in North Carolina, USA, including the North Carolina Department of Administration, North Carolina Department of Revenue, NTTData, Fujitsu America, HCL and BCBSNC.

Vahni assists organizational leaders in areas of leadership, business relations, project management, communication, change management, agile transformation, program management, and other important corporate functions. Currently volunteering for the PMI North Carolina Chapter (NCPMI) in a leadership role serving for social good, providing no-cost project management education to the project management community and educational leaders/teachers/students.

Vahni has been teaching PMP® Exam Prep and PMI-ACP® Exam Prep classes, and other project management workshops for the last several years to PMI’s global project management community, including PMI members, military personnel at Fort Bragg, NC, Corporate Executives (at Credit Suisse, Bass Pro, etc.)
