Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) is an in-depth two day immersion into the world of the ScrumMaster role. The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the ScrumMaster uses these skills to support the team, the Product Owner and the Organization. The class is full of real world examples from the attendees’ experiences and coaches attendees through practical tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately at your workplace. The class is a deep dive into your role as a ScrumMaster and the hands-on activities and exercises demonstrate key concepts and let you experience the next level of Scrum firsthand.

  • How to best facilitate and coach team members, customers, executives and stakeholders
  • Techniques to help your team on their journey to self-organization
  • Expanding the impact of Scrum in your organization
  • Identify ways to scale Scrum and Agile beyond your team

After the class, Braintrust’s A-CSM program continues with 12 months access to monthly ScrumMastery coaching calls with a Braintrust coach and other A-CSM attendees to share ideas and challenges. ($600 value) as well as access to a private google group where you can share ideas and questions with fellow ScrumMaster & coaches.

  9. To explore resolving impediments, so that I can effectively support my team
  10. To understand Scaling Scrum, so that I can understand the pros and cons of scaling
  11. To explore Organizational Change, so that I can effectively support my organization
  12. to explore Scrum Mastery, so that I can expand my personal ScrumMaster skills

Instructor

Anu Smalley, CST, CSP, CSM, CSPO is a Certified Scrum Trainer providing education and coaching, consulting services to clients across the United States. Anu’s passion lies within Product Management. Having been a Product Owner for a number of years, she focuses on coaching Product Owner’s, Product Manager and Business Leaders. Anu has 20+ years of experience. Over her career she has been a developer, Project Lead Project Manager, Development Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner and Agile Coach and Trainer. A Graduate from Osmania University, India ( B.A and M.A in Psychology) and Bowling Green State University, Ohio (MBA), Anu has presented at User Group events like SAFe RVA, Agile Delaware and Scrum User Group of Columbia, MO. Anu is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and a Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP). Anu is an active member of the Scrum Alliance, and Agile Alliance.
