The Agile Forum meetings offer an opportunity for professional networking and knowledge sharing with other agile practitioners as well as provide a learning environment for professionals interested in learning about agile techniques. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Answering “when will you be done?” to people outside the team – like the C-suite, Directors, and Managers – is often a challenge for teams focused on building software. In Agile situations it can be even more complicated!
Speaking to this group in a way comprehensible for an elevator or a hallway is a core competency for any project manager who wants to retain freedom and funding!
This session takes a walk through explaining the concept of velocity, applies the Agile concept of the “cone of uncertainty”, reviews the value of burn-up and burn-down charts, and then shows you how to provide a clear, simple understandable, and truthful answer about when you’ll be done.
