Agile (Virtual) Forum - 200616

"Put the Fantastic back in Facilitation"
presented by Kate Megaw, President of The Braintrust Consulting Group

The Agile Forum meetings offer an opportunity for professional networking and knowledge sharing with other agile practitioners as well as provide a learning environment for professionals interested in learning about agile techniques. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Whether you are a trainer, coach, leader or team member - facilitation is key to the success in an Agile environment.

“Winging It” is NOT a good strategy for facilitation!

This session will explore:
• Group dynamics – Are you developing trust, teaming, and authentic collaboration among the group?
• Active listening – Are you really hearing what others are really saying?
• Critical thinking – Are you using your critical thinking skills as a facilitator?

This hands-on session will explore these 3 things you MUST understand to be a GREAT facilitator!

Learning Objectives
• Recognize the importance of group dynamics
• Learn the skill of Active Listening and identify types of listeners
• Explore critical thinking skills as a team
