PMI Atlanta Chapter - Agile (Virtual) Forum - 200915

Agile (Virtual) Forum - 200915

"How to Run a Fun and Engaging Retrospective Virtually"
presented by Ordonna Sargeant, Wunderman Thompson

The Agile Forum meetings offer an opportunity for professional networking and knowledge sharing with other agile practitioners as well as provide a learning environment for professionals interested in learning about agile techniques. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Presentation

In Agile, Retrospective meetings happen to help your team to identify issues, improve processes and share their perspectives on the roadmap of ‘start, stop and continue' throughout the project. An effective retrospective meeting can reframe a project and help your team to see following sprints in a different light. In this new Covid era aligning remote and distributed teams can be more difficult when trying to reach positive outcomes in retrospectives.

Ordonna’s presentation will provide ways to make sure everyone’s included and actively engaged during the virtual meetings. We will discuss common pitfalls, how to overcome them and how to run fun, interactive retros virtually.
