The Agile Forum meetings offer an opportunity for professional networking and knowledge sharing with other agile practitioners as well as provide a learning environment for professionals interested in learning about agile techniques. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Over half a million people have been trained in the Scaled Agile Framework. It is in use in one form or another by a large number of Fortune 500 companies. There is a good chance that it may simultaneously be the most loved and most hated Agile framework on the market today.
But what is SAFe? How does it work? Why does it need so many roles? What is PI Planning? And why does the Big Picture look so complicated? In this talk Josh will provide answers to those questions and more.
Josh has more than two decades’ worth of experience in delivery. He has worked in a wide range of industries including telecom, professional services, financial services, consumer goods, and insurance. He has helped apply Agile principles and practices to everything from consumer electronics to high school theater.
Josh is currently serving as an Enterprise Agile Coach and is helping a Fortune 50 company through its Lean-Agile DevSecOps re-org and transformation. He is a Scaled Agile Program Consultant and has taught over 30 SAFe certification courses.
Josh and his wife Diana live in Brookhaven, GA with their two teenage sons. In what little spare time he has Josh enjoys playing bass guitar, 3D printing, and supporting the arts community at the local middle and high schools.
