5 ways you can integrSabarsky-Leonate Agile into Project Management

I often get asked by project managers, “How can I become Agile in a project management world?”. My answer is that you can “add some Agile” to your current project management world while still operating as normal. How do you do that? It’s best to rethink some elements of project management and keep the rest the same. For example, having a “lessons learned” session at the end of the project just because it is on the project plan isn’t useful for a project team that may never work together again. Especially if the information isn’t captured in a lessons learned database, for example, and shared with PMs before projects start.

This presentation will focus on 5 ways in which project managers can integrate “some Agile” into their project management framework. I will break down in detail how PMs can leverage Agile tools and techniques while still operating as a PM. In addition, I will outline the value and benefit of layering “some Agile” into your PM game will bring you.
