Presentation Details

Many times, project managers are great at identifying issues, creating process, and leading projects to success at work but find it challenging at times to replicate that same level of success at home. What is it that prevents us from identifying our own goals, creating a plan, and crushing it? The most glaring issue is that we don’t view ourselves as a product that requires the same level of attention and business agility. This session is going to address what is agile, how to identify if you are stuck in your product roadmap (a.k.a. your life), and how to redefine yourself to live an agile lifestyle.

Biography Altidor-Emanuella

Emanuella Altidor was born and raised in South Florida to Haitian-immigrant parents who instilled a spirit of resilience and determination in her. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida A&M University (FAMU) with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management. Following her studies at FAMU, Emanuella worked in multiple roles at Emory Healthcare, with a focus on project management that enhanced the patient experience and optimal outpatient clinic operations. Emanuella later graduated from Georgia State University with her MBA and continued working as a project manager for Cigna under their Operational Excellence department.

During the pandemic, with the support of her husband, she not only gave birth to twin girls, but completed a full-time coding bootcamp that allowed her to shift careers and enter the tech industry as a Full Stack Software Developer for Porsche Digital. As a true servant leader, Emanuella found her way back to project management and currently works as the Technical Project Manager at Ascend. When she’s not making magic happen at work, Emanuella likes to spend her time challenging herself physically with marathons, picking up new skills like learning how to swim, or just spending quality time with family and friends.
