 Arvind Swamy is a well-respected senior global procurement leader with a passion for creating value through change. With a breadth of industry and functional knowledge, Arvind has a proven record of astute negotiation and strategic sourcing skills. Arvind has consistently delivered exceptional procurement value and optimal financial results. He is an expert in aligning procurement strategy with organizational vision and business objectives.

Arvind drives transformational change by leading, developing, and executing sourcing strategies, procurement best practices, and initiatives that support aggressive improvements in supplier performance, cost containment, policies, methods and procedures. He is highly skilled in creating executable business and process improvement plans, building and leading global high-performance teams, reducing costs, mitigating risks, exceeding efficiency and productivity objectives, and standardizing procedures while fostering proactive business environments.

Arvind has held positions of increasing responsibility in supply chain operations, strategic commodity management, and global sourcing and procurement for direct and indirect commodities while generating yearly savings greater than 10% of spend . He’s well-versed in transforming traditional supply chain organizations to that of strategic procurement that drives value to the bottom line.

Currently, Arvind is in a CPO role as the SVP of Strategic Sourcing & SPM at Encompass Digital Media. Earlier career assignments include strategic leadership positions with Proudfoot Consulting, First Data Corporation, Exide Technologies, NCR Corporation, Ford Motor Company, United Technologies Corporation, and General Motors Corporation, respectively.
