"Managing Global Projects"

Presented by Monica Varriale, Global Strategy and Program Development Leader

The PMI Atlanta AEC Forum is a focus group that hosts regular events with ranging topics in the architectural, engineering, and construction fields. We will show the importance of solid project management in these related fields of study.

Presentation

For a corporation to drive Net Sales growth from Innovation, it must develop global innovation for scale that meet local needs and successfully launch them in multiple markets, maybe even around the world. One important component is execution excellence not only in market but in the development stages thru project management effectiveness.  Many corporations develop sector, function, country specific tools, approaches and overall “how to”.  In order to consistently repeat what is working and change what is not, Monica documents best practices in a project management playbook for global projects.  She aims to improve innovation project execution with the success stories of project leaders and cross functional teams that have used these best practices and tools to address key challenges.  There are 4 key areas that drive a good portion of the project’s success, this presentation will highlight them in a hands-on style for you to start applying them today.
