The PMI Atlanta AEC Forum is a focus group that hosts regular events with ranging topics in the architectural, engineering, and construction fields. We will show the importance of solid project management in these related fields of study.

Presentation Details

The Construction Schedule is the most powerful, yet least understood data set in all of construction. This presentation is designed to educate construction industry veterans on how the schedule can be utilized proactively to identify, avoid and/or solve problems related to cost overruns, delays and resultant disputes.

Speaker Biography

Michael Pink possesses over 17 years of experience in the construction industry providing Program Management, Risk Advisory and Dispute Resolution Services. Michael has provided these services on capital construction programs and projects all over the globe representing an assortment of industries, both public and private, including Power & Renewable Energy, Gas/Pipeline, Industrial and Manufacturing, Commercial and Residential buildings, Healthcare, Education, Transportation, Entertainment & Retails sectors.

Michael specializes in data analysis, with a specific focus on schedule management and analysis. Most recently, Mr. Pink has developed technology designed to regularly analyze schedule quality, delay, compression, feasibility and risk on commercial construction projects. This is the only technology of its kind that can perform an accurate critical path analysis with minimum human involvement.
