The PMI Atlanta AEC Forum is a focus group that hosts regular events with ranging topics in the architectural, engineering, and construction fields. We will show the importance of solid project management in these related fields of study.

Presentation Details

Many organizations are making commitments to long-term energy goals, but not all of these are backed by an evidence base that informs feasibility and strategy to achieving such a goal. The production and inclusion of multiple kinds of data regularly results in dramatic variations in planning and implementation and improves program effectiveness.

BiographyCox-Matt

Matt Cox, PhD, is the founder and CEO of Greenlink Analytics, an energy research and advisory non-profit based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, Matt provides domain expertise for Greenlink’s energy and resource analysis software tools and serves as a consultant on energy efficiency strategies, renewable energy deployment and system operations in the electric power sector. He has authored over 60 scientific publications in energy policy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, economic development and job creation, the social and environmental impacts of energy use, and water policy. His policy recommendations have been adopted by dozens of cities and states, the U.S. government, and 12 other nations. Matt holds a PhD in climate and energy policy with a minor in sustainable development from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
