Biography 
Candace Washington is a seasoned project management professional, educator, researcher, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience leading complex projects and guiding cross-sector initiatives. She is the owner of Cancave Management & Engineering, a project management & engineering consulting firm she has successfully operated for 10 years, delivering strategic solutions across a variety of industries.
In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Candace serves as a lecturer at Georgia Tech, where she teaches construction management and project management courses, blending real-world experience with academic rigor. She is also a Ph.D. candidate at Georgia Tech, conducting research on business strategy, workforce diversity and innovation in construction management, with a focus on preparing the next generation of industry leaders.
Candace holds multiple advanced degrees in construction and project management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Her career reflects a unique integration of industry practice, teaching, and research, demonstrating how diverse experiences can reinforce one another to create broader impact. Passionate about mentorship and professional development, she actively supports initiatives that empower students, professionals, and communities to achieve their goals.
