The presenters, Dr. Nazeera Dawood and Lisa Harper Bronson, will discuss the what, when, who and where of government contracting. Through their work with Vendorship Inc., they have coached numerous engineering , architecture, and IT services companies into success contracting opportunities.

Biography

Dr. Nazeera Dawood - Co Founder & CEO, Vendorship Inc.
After a rewarding career as a medical doctor, Dr. Dawood obtained a master’s degree in Public Health at UNC, Chapel Hill. She then served eight years in public service as Director of the Fulton County Health Department Health Promotion Division. She was also the County Chief of Staff at the Board of Commissioner Chairman’s office. During this time, Dr. Dawood developed an extensive knowledge of the governmental proposal process.

With a passion for supporting public/private partnerships that serve the public good, Dr. Dawood is ale to draw upon a wide professional network from the public sector, business and in nonprofit work to help coach others. She founded Vendorship Inc. to ease the entry into government contracting for contractors and small businesses.

As CEO & CHH (Chief of Client Happiness) of Vendorship, Inc, she coaches clients and companies of all sizes on obtaining government contracts so that they can provide high quality products and services to the public sector.

Lisa Harper-Bronson
Lisa Harper- Bronson is a Global Program Management Executive with 15 years of experience in varied industries. Her focus is Information Security programs.

Harper-Bronson attended the University of Missouri and Lindenwood University for her MBA and started her career as a Cobol programmer.

She is passionate about mentoring and coaching a more diverse workforce in Information technology. She has mentored and coached young women and men for the past several years with Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business mentoring program. She also works as a part-time instructor for the college, teaching undergrads and grads IT Project Management and Information Security.

Harper-Bronson truly believes in reaching back and pulling up women the way people have reached back to pull her up.

Fun facts: She was born in Yokoska, Japan, is a certified scuba diver and was once hit in the head by a hockey puck at an Atlanta Thrashers game.
