"You’re Doing the Work… So Why Aren’t You Moving? How to Turn Certification into Career Growth with PMI" by Noel Ransom-Washington

You’re putting in the work.
You’re attending meetings.
You may have even earned your PMP.

So why does it feel like your career hasn’t moved the way you expected?

This session is designed for project management professionals at every stage of their journey—from those considering certification to those who are certified, experienced, and wondering what’s next.

Many professionals believe certification alone will unlock new opportunities. Others have years of experience but feel stuck in execution roles without clear direction for growth. The reality is: career progression doesn’t happen automatically—it requires strategy.

In this interactive keynote, Noel Ransom Washington walks participants through the real evolution of a project manager and introduces a practical framework for using PMI as a career accelerator. Attendees will identify where they are today, understand what may be holding them back, and learn how to intentionally leverage PMI resources, relationships, and opportunities to move to their next level.

Whether you are just starting out, newly certified, or ready to transition into leadership, this session will give you the clarity and direction to take your next step with confidence.

This session is for anyone asking, “What should I be doing next?”—no matter where you are in your project management journey.
