There are more than 80 million adults in the US estimated to use some form of alternative medicine, from herbs and megavitamins to yoga and acupuncture. The discussion will delve into the clinical trials that are underway to determine some of the approaches that are effective, useless, or harmful and the corresponding advantages and disadvantages in the research.
