Tired of sticky notes and whiteboard sessions? Mind Mapping is an effective way to gather requirements for both BAs and PMs. A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. Project managers can use mind mapping to visualize and streamline their work load, list objectives of the project, and stay focused on outcomes. Mind mapping as a tool helps project managers consider multiple facets of the project plan in simple easily digestible diagrams.

Primarily used for the construction of the WBS, advanced uses of this technique also simplify the complex process of communicating the project plan. When Mind Mapping is coupled with technology it simplifies the process and enhances communication.

During this presentation, Brandon Conrad will explain the mind mapping theory and how that theory can be applied to BAs and PMs. He will also demonstrate best practice techniques in mind mapping and how it relates to technology.

Participants will learn how to simplify the project life cycle and improve communication for their project plans.
