The PMI Atlanta Entertainment Forum launched in 2017! Our focus is expanding knowledge and appreciation of Project Management and its benefits in unconventional fields by providing informational, educational, and networking events for individuals in various roles in the entertainment industry.

"Don’t Get Lost In Translation"

Modern technology has changed how people pass content, forever.  And media companies like Turner/Turner International now pass data and content across the globe.  Jamaal will be discussing how to deliver data products across globally distributed teams for Turner International, a multinational entertainment conglomerate.

Biography

Jamaal Broome is a Senior Manager, Business Operations for Turner International. His responsibilities include leading the delivery data products for Turner’s BroomeJamaalInternational News, Entertainment and Sports Brands.  Prior to this role, he was responsible for program managing Turner’s preparation for NCAA March Madness Live, leading 13 work streams in support of content across 15 consumer product platforms. He is a seasoned professional with a 20-year background in program management, digital product development and management consulting.

Jamaal also serves as a co-chair for the Business Resource Group, Black Professionals at Turner. He launched and leads a bourgeoning Data Visualization community at Turner.

Jamaal has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Hampton University. He has a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech with a concentration in International Business and Marketing. He has also completed additional certifications in the field of Big Data and Customer Analytics from Emory University and the Wharton School of Business.  He is currently a member of PMI and was previously a certified PMP.
