Presentation
Whether behind the camera, on stage, on the field, in the audience or at an amazing venue, project management makes it all happen. Monique and Ken will discuss how their theatrical degrees full of project management skills lead to fruitful careers in the entertainment industry in Atlanta and beyond.
Biography
With over 20 years of Lighting Design experience Monique’s work spans across the country and some outside the country. From Large Sporting venues and Hotels to performance venues it is likely you have seen the end product of Monique’s works in Atlanta or on many of your travels.
Ken Feinberg is the founder and CEO of Creative Studios of Atlanta, a production and training facility in Georgia. Feinberg is also an international award-winning director, producer, screenwriter and actor with over 150 IMDb credits including the bully awareness film
Feinberg is noted for receiving the Directors Gold Award from the International Family Film Festival for Santa’s Boot Camp, a family Christmas movie that was named one of the top 10 Christmas movies in the U. K. (#6) distributed by Sony. He has had six films premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France, and he was also honored with the Outstanding Achievement award for his contribution to film community in Georgia.
Feinberg founded Creative Studios Atlanta in 2005 after years of nurturing his career in LA and NYC. Over the years he has taught classes, workshops in Cannes, Tuscany, at the SAG Conservatory, Women in Film, Atlanta, LA and Dragoncon, the famous sci-fi convention in Atlanta.
He teaches screenwriters, directors, producers and is especially known for his work with young actors. Some of his past students include Storm Reid (Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time, 12 Years a Slave), Erika Bierman (The Hunger Games), Kyla Drew (Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn) among others.
