The PMI Atlanta Governance Forum has established a premier collaboration and networking experience for Project/Program Managers and those involved with PMOs – to share challenges, trends, leading practices, and thought leadership.

Governance practitioners typically include members from strategic, corporate, and operational management. Attendees will find this forum beneficial and should gain invaluable, just-in-time insight for existing business challenges.

Presentation

Amanda will talk about the model that she helped implement at the Carter's PMO to help achieve value for the business.  In a rapidly-changing industry facing enormous disruption like Retail, a successful partnership between the PMO and the business is a must.

Biography

Amanda Sheehan is a PMO leader with a background in IT development and project  management.  Beginning her career as a consultant, Amanda had the opportunity to work in different industries across the country building software for Fortune 500 companies. 

After moving into a role over development teams, Amanda made the transition to project management. She is now a leader of the Retail portfolio at Carter’s OshKosh with responsibility for project delivery across stores, eCommerce and merchandising. Amanda specializes in partnering the business and IT teams around the strategic initiatives that will bring the most value to the organization.  

Amanda holds a Bachelors of Business in Computer Information Systems from the Auburn University at Montgomery.
