Presentation

As the world becomes more inter-connected, Global health issues dominate the health agenda driving scientific research and innovations to design interventions. There is growing partnership and collaboration across agencies, institutions and countries with the aim to prevent and control diseases and improve health and well being not at national level and beyond geographic boards. Despite the growing evidence for which treatment, diagnostic and preventive measures are needed, there remains disparity in access and utilization of these interventions within countries and across the continents in the world. This session will highlight global health issues, perspectives, challenges and opportunities with a focus on Africa.
