Presentation

The use and application of emotional intelligence is rated a top five soft skill according to a recent published survey from LinkedIn based on an assessment of thousands of job postings in calendar year 2019. By definition, emotional intelligence is the ability to perceive, evaluate and respond to both your own emotions and those of others, yet this skill is composed of several components which you have an opportunity to develop and improve over your career. Developing and improving your emotional intelligence can bring personal rewards, but also foster strong relationships with peers and leadership who collectively help to achieve your shared goals.

In this presentation, you will learn three important attributes of developing emotional intelligence: its definition, its relationship to your psychological profile and the reason for developing it. In addition, you will learn about the four components of emotional intelligence that you will leverage along with a few techniques for developing and improving your personal performance and your interpersonal relationships.
