Presentation

Customers’ expectations for a sustainable future is of vital importance, and that means investors care too. Firms must have strategies and examples to attract new customers and share owners. Sustainability examples are plentiful in firms who continuously work to assess and improve. Leaders must embrace honesty, transparency and continuous improvement, investing in analysis, technology, and positive process change. Firms leading already know their purpose and design their products and solutions with the wisdom of their teams. They build holistic improvement plans within safe culture to assess themselves and their suppliers. They satisfy customers with greater value, have fewer undesirable social and environmental impacts, and higher profitability.

In the talk, Nathan will discuss examples where firms have succeeded and failed, considering these four areas:

Purpose: Operating in alignment with your purpose, in the eyes of the client
Efficiency: Delivery goods and services with the total cost in mind and designed for reuse and recycling.
Satisfaction: Customers and employees benefit from operational excellence and it requires planning and execution.
Culture: Expectation for integrity with principles, and continuous improvement, both internally and along the value chain.
