The challenges of access to healthcare for those living in remote areas requires system thinking - a comprehensive solution that goes across multiple sectors to solve different challenges for one specific problem.
In this forum, Eddine will discuss the complexity for project managers to address projects in health systems for access to quality healthcare for all. The Community Life Center (CLC) solution is an integrated approach to primary healthcare aimed at improving access and quality of care through applying a replicable modular solution.

Biography
Bahaa Eddine Sarroukh is Healthcare Innovation Lead at the Philips Foundation and Senior Advisor of Innovation & Technology at United Nations Development Program (UNDP)-Kenya. Eddine supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Partnership Platform, as well as leads the design and operationalization of the SDG Accelerator Lab for Kenya. He previously headed Philips Research Africa, based in Nairobi, where he established health research and innovation to address priority health and well-being needs.
Eddine holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and has over 20 years of experience in end-user-centric innovation, claim validation and data driven research. He is an active promoter of innovation for the underserved, supported by his roles and memberships in industrial institutes such as Engineering for Global Development.
