The PMI Atlanta Healthcare Forum has 9 planned sessions throughout 2022. Meetings, Escalations, and Pandemic concerns! We often find ourselves with limited time, mounting priorities, and looming deadlines. Utilizing key project management skills are essential to keep composure, instill confidence, and build trust.

In this presentation, James Brooks will give explanation to the critical Project Management skills needed to navigate the fast-paced world of healthcare! He will further explore the dynamics of the healthcare continuum and how we can all set ourselves up to navigate it successfully!

Biography  

James Brooks, a native of Enterprise, AL, currently serves as Regional Service Vice President for Philips Healthcare. James manages a team that is responsible for Philips’s clinical diagnostic imaging service delivery, execution, and strategy in the Greater Atlanta area. James spent five years with McKesson Corporation working across the nation with numerous community and corporate hospital systems, to promote McKesson's electronic medical records solution.

An honors graduate of Auburn University, James enjoys following all Auburn athletics and is an active member of the Auburn Alumni Association. Prior to attending Auburn, James enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as Staff Sergeant Innovations Manager. His enlistment allowed him to travel extensively around the world and visit over 18 different countries. He is a twice decorated war veteran as he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

James currently resides in Atlanta, GA and enjoys trying the latest restaurants, engaging in various community projects, and cheering on his Auburn Tigers! War Eagle!
