The most challenging part of facilitating transition or striving for efficient business processes isn't the tools, techniques, or processes you choose to use. It all comes down to understanding that this mindset change requires strategic, future-thinking leaders to provide and welcome opportunities to engage their teams in conversations and activities that start to lay the foundation, which can make or break this new voyage. This experience is empowering and anticipated for everyone impacted. It requires time to plan, communicate, and consider continuous improvement from a people focus perspective and not to react to everything from a "company is on fire" way!

By attending this session, you will learn how some practical tools and strategies are more purposeful and proactive in leading and empowering your teams, such as:

Biography   

Dr. Tanika J. Kyle is a sought-after speaker, facilitator, trainer, coach, author, and master slaayer with over 20 years of experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, process optimization, leadership, product development, and organizational effectiveness. She obtained a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership, an MBA in Marketing, and a BBA in International Business. She holds several certifications, including PMP, NPDP, Six Sigma Black Belt, CSM, and Prosci.

Dr. Kyle is the CEO and Chief Solutions Strategist for TB & J Solutions, LLC. She also leads institute-wide, strategic, multi-year transformation efforts as a Program and Portfolio Manager at a university. She also helps lead the portfolio and project management team and serves as the competency lead and ambassador for portfolio management across the Institute. Prior to the university, Dr. Kyle was a Senior Manager responsible for managing domestic and international strategic initiatives, cross- functional process improvements, and product development and portfolio management processes, training, and metrics for a lighting and controls manufacturing company.

Dr. Kyle is passionate about empowering and equipping leaders, especially women and teen girls, to SLAAY (Strategically Living Authentically AsYourself) in whatever lane they choose. Thus, she focuses on helping to provide the leadership skills, tools, knowledge, and confidence they need for their journey while owning their value and worth. Dr. Kyle understands it takes a tribe to SLAAY and is a champion of and volunteers with girls, women, and underserved communities and organizations. A devoted aunt to many and a cherished friend, Dr. Kyle's adventurous spirit is evident in her love of travel. Born in Tennessee, she currently lives in Atlanta.
