Getting things done, especially the right things, is hard. No one ever taught us in school how to manage our time and our tasks, and many of us have had to learn the hard way. Luckily, there are methods and tools out there that can instantly enhance your personal productivity, and I'd like to share how I've applied the principles of the Getting Things Done (GTD) philosophy to my team using a tool called ToDoist.
You will leave with:
- A practical understanding of the Getting Things Done (GTD) philosophy and how to get started applying it
- An opportunity to apply the concepts real time to get more productive quickly
- An understanding of how I’ve applied the concepts using a software tool called ToDoist
Biography
Aaron Kanne is the Director of Implementation Services at Care Logistics, A Jackson Healthcare company located in Alpharetta, GA. He received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and his Master's degree in Health Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is PMP Certified through the Project Management Institute, and has been since 2010. He is also an active member of the Society of Health Systems (SHS) since 2008 and an active member of the Institute of Industrial Engineering since 2001. He was recently appointed Treasurer of the Board of SHS.
