Speaker Biographies

Chris-CarterChris Carter, PMP, ACP (Welcome)
With over 15 years of industry project management experience, Chris Carter brings valuable real-world expertise and was instrumental in the redesign of the Georgia Tech Project Management program. As chief engineer and executive general manager for Toyota and Lexus brands, he has spent his time developing and launching new model year cross-platform technologies. Carter’s large-scale projects include launching the MY16-18 Lexus RX, MY22 Lexus NX, and Lexus Interface® system. He is a Georgia Tech alumnus (ISYE 2007, PM Certificate 2015) who was named a Georgia Tech Alumni Association 40 Under 40 honoree in 2023 and serves as the Project Management academic program director. He is an active speaker for various campus career development events, including Georgia Tech’s third annual Organizational Effectiveness Conference, Georgia Tech Alumni Association’s Career Clarity Series, and the PMI-Atlanta 40th Anniversary Celebration. Carter has distinctions from the State of Texas for Community Leadership (Senator Nathan Johnson) and is a Leadership Dallas 2020 alumnus, serving as executive advisor from 2020 to 2021. He is the academic program director for Georgia Tech Professional Education’s Project Management program.

Kizmet Charles, PMP (Conflict Management Session)

Kizmet-Charles-Head-ShotKizmet Charles has over 15 years of manufacturing and operational expertise in the production and manufacturing industries. She brings robust experience with building and sustaining cultures focused on performance, inclusion, servant leadership, strategic processes, and unyielding agility to the Georgia Tech Project Management program. As Newell’s centralized supply chain senior manager, Charles leads Lean Six Sigma activities for corporate support teams in Information Technology, Business Unit Supply Planning, and Global Business Services. This work drives process improvements and team member capability building. Charles is a champion and coach of data-driven improvements using effective tools such as loss analysis, balanced scorecards, and value stream mapping. She is an instructor in Georgia Tech Professional Education’s Project Management program. Charles holds an MBA from Emory and is a PMP. 


Sarv Kohli, PMP, ACP (Risk Management Session)

Proj-MgtSarv-KohliApproved-2025Sarv Kohli is a business technology leader with 20+ years of hands-on experience and demonstrated accomplishments in setting the vision, strategy, and execution of large, global-scale IT, digital, and business transformation programs, fostering innovation and business/IT partnership.

He has a unique blend of experience with Big Four consulting, IT services providers, and large enterprise cultures as a builder and operator with broad business and technology in diversified Industries. Kohli has a passion for technology and strong project management skills, which include in-depth experience with setting PMO/CoE cloud and digital transformation programs. With PMP, ACP, Google Cloud Digital Leader, Six Sigma, and ITIL certifications, he has delivered global complex business improvement (CI) initiatives, enterprise architecture, and programs in multiple technologies that include custom development, BPM, ERP, application engineering, IT operations and support, mobile, infrastructure, cloud, RPA/AI, and digital transformation.

He brings extensive global experience, having worked across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He is a thought leader and has presented lectures on project management at Georgia Tech and various corporations. He is also an instructor and research lead for Georgia Tech Professional Education’s Project Management program.

Joe Sisto, PMP, ACP, CSPO, CSM (PMP Exam Tips Session)

PMStaff2025-Joe-SistoWith over 20 years of enterprise systems IT experience, Joe Sisto brings AGILE and PMO industry dexterity to Georgia Tech’s Project Management program. Sisto is focused on the transformation of business through automation and of information technology with AGILE, Lean Six-Sigma, and modernization. As a certified AGILE Coach, Sisto has coached 17 teams in AGILE and KanBan. He has created and taught over 60 courses throughout his extensive industry experience, including coaching 12 teams for package tracking, billing, and accounting, as well as coaching four teams for sales, middleware, and field installation. Rounding that up, he has also coached at the scaled level for IHG Concerto Product and SAFe® 4.0. Sisto currently serves as PMI-Atlanta’s chair elect and has been instrumental in the redesign of Georgia Tech’s AGILE Leadership Certificate within the Project Management program. Sisto is a PMP, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), ACP (AGILE Certified Professional), and CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).
