This energizing presentation will help attendees focus on the importance of networking not just during a job search, but to build a network of ongoing relationships and expert judgment resources. The objectives of this presentation are to help attendees learn how to develop skills for effective networking, create and build a list of contacts, integrate their message into conversations, and influence how the message is delivered. Topics include the goals of networking, types of networking, networking preparation, and leveraging social media and professional organizations to build a network. Come learn how to optimize your networking efforts and build confidence in yourself!

Biography

Stu Laubenstein is a career consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison and also operates his own consulting business with his wife, Cindy; Aspire College and Career Consulting. In these roles he consults with and mentors clients considering or impacted by career transition and assists them in executing a successful job search campaign while developing lifelong career management skills, including networking, social media, resume preparation, communications, interview skills and negotiations. He is recognized for effective skills in career mentoring, group facilitation, organizational and leadership development, executive coaching and talent acquisition. He works with clients from a wide variety of levels, organizations and industries.

Stu earned a BS in Industrial and labor Relations from Cornell and a MBA from Univ of Tenn. Additional professional development includes certificates in Collective Bargaining and Executive Leadership.
