Virtual PMP Study Group - Fall 2020

PMI Atlanta provides a free PMP Study Group to our members in good standing. Join your peers and a mentor to prepare for your next big step in your career!

Meets every Monday starting October 5th - December 7th

This PMP® Study Group will be presented over 10 weeks with one 2 hour session held per week. In addition to peer-led presentations on specific knowledge areas, the sessions will include representative quizzes and class exercises. Group discussion and interactive learning opportunities will be part of the learning experience. Each session will include a chapter quiz and, where appropriate, exercises to help the student assess his or her progress. Content will be based on the exam format currently offered by PMI Global.

Tools Needed for Class

Study Materials - can be electronic or hard-copy 

• A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), 6th Edition.
• PMP Study Guide of the candidate's choice - suggestions Rita Mulcahey or Andy Crowe
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) Handbook
• Project Management Professional (PMP®) Examination Content Outline - June 2015
• PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

Meeting (Equipment) Requirements

• Computer, headphones, etc to support learning in a virtual environment
• Internet connection sufficient to provide a presentation online to the group without lag or audio distortion

Note: The exam is changing to a new exam outline; however, the newer content outline is not available until late December. This is the exam format through calendar year 2020.
