Biography

Dr. Beverly Wright has almost 30 years leading and delivering data science and analytics through corporate, consulting, and academic experiences. She has served as executive, leader, and advisor of data science and analytics teams to help provide solutions for solving complex business problems.

As Chief Analytics Strategist for Axis Group, Beverly has provided guidance to a variety of businesses and non-profit organizations to frame and solve critical issues using modeling and advanced analytics.

She recently joined University of South Carolina as Executive Director of Center for Applied Business Analytics at Darla Moore School of Business, as Executive Director, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Analytics.

Beverly gives back to her community through operating a nonprofit called ATLytiCS leveraging volunteers, data, tools, and other resources to tackle community challenges. She also serves as board member for TAG Data Science & Analytics, Neighborhood Nexus, chair for INFORMS analytics certification board, and podcast host for TAG Data Talk.
