"Leveraging Self-Organizing Teams At Scale To Drive Flow" presented by Alex Lantukh, Product Owner of Asset Tracking at Infiswift

PMI Atlanta Technology Forum provides an environment for Project Managers to adopt and benefit from the latest technology in their professional life and career. The forum also plans to bring speakers to discuss and share the best practices in technology.

Chapter leadership will present PMI Atlanta Chapter's 2022 Financial Review at the beginning of the event.

Presentation

In today's rapidly changing business environment, organizations need to be agile, innovative, and customer-centric to survive and thrive. However, traditional hierarchical structures and command-and-control approaches can be barriers to achieving these goals. Self-organizing teams have emerged as a promising alternative, allowing employees to collaborate and innovate in a more dynamic and adaptive manner. This presentation explores the benefits of and the strategies by which we might leverage self-organizing teams at scale to drive flow and improve organizational performance.

Biography Lantukh-Alex

Alex Lantukh is a Ukrainian American agilist, facilitator, and product strategist with an extensive background in consulting, financial technology, and industrial technology. A home-grown Atlanta suburbanite from a deeply religious refugee community that fled the Soviet Union shortly before the Berlin wall fell. Alex enrolled in Georgia State University, whose football team once scored a field goal against Alabama, and graduated with a Bachelors and Masters in Computer and Management Information Systems.

Alex spends his free time traveling with his wife, and relaunching a coffee catering business whenever he finds himself under-stimulated with his career. He can usually be coaxed into networking conversations with specialty coffee and encourages anyone with a similar vice to contact him.
