Speaker Presentation - 6:15pm - 7:15pm
CTE is a 501(c)(3), Atlanta based non-profit that is the national leader in supporting the development and deployment of battery electric and hydrogen vehicles in the medium- and heavy-duty markets. CTE’s Executive Director, Dan Raudebaugh, will review the state of the technology along with providing an overview of some of the 100 plus projects CTE manages across the country in this critical space. He will emphasize the work done to date in Georgia including the deployment of battery electric transit buses at MARTA and at the University of Georgia and the CNG stations and refuge trucks deployed with Waste Management in Savannah and other parts of the southeast.
Biography
As Executive Director, Dan Raudebaugh has dedicated the last 27 years to fostering environmental and energy sustainability and creating jobs within US emerging technology sectors. He has developed, secured funding for, and managed a varied portfolio of cost-shared research, development, demonstration, and deployment projects exceeding $650 million. Mr. Raudebaugh leads a staff of experienced engineers and project managers who are committed to improving the efficiency and sustainability of US energy and transportation systems. Mr. Raudebaugh holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech.
