One of the keys to successful project, program, and portfolio management is measuring the success in ways that support critical decisions. Planned vs. actual duration and cost, number of defects, and number of change requests are only a few of the powerful metrics that can help drive strategic decision-making. There are lots of metrics that can be measured but the key question is whether they are all relevant? It is extremely important for project managers to work with sponsors and stakeholder to identify the metrics that matters for customers, sponsors, stakeholders and the team, and then develop a plan to collect, analyze and report them on a regular basis.

In this webinar we’ll cover the relevant metrics at project, program and portfolio levels for both waterfall and agile projects. You will participate in individual and group exercises to reinforce your understanding of metrics and how to determine which matters for your project.
