Architectural, Engineering, & Construction (Virtual) Forum - 210209

"Real Estate Construction Management during a Global Pandemic"
presented by Francina Price, CEO/Chief Project Officer

The PMI Atlanta AEC Forum is a focus group that hosts regular events with ranging topics in the architectural, engineering, and construction fields. We will show the importance of solid project management in these related fields of study.

Presentation

From the inception to occupancy, the commercial real estate construction process is filled with risks. Common risks include approvals and permits, design and technical issues, budget and cost overruns, safety concerns and site conditions to name a few. Now add to those risks the unprecedented challenges brought on by a global pandemic.

Francina Price, founder, CEO and Chief Project Manager for Champions Integrated Facilities Management will discuss how her team, despite risks that were impossible to predict nor fully avoid, successfully delivered on projects in 2020. She’ll also share lessons learned, new best practices and ongoing tips to continue throughout 2021 and beyond.
