Biography

West ChiquettaChiquetta West is a native Atlantan currently residing in East Atlanta.  She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Florida A&M University and Master's degree from Georgia State University.  Chiquetta has also received her project management graduate certificate from Keller Graduate School of Management thereafter and obtained her CAPM and PMP certifications in 2008 and 2011 respectively.

She has been employed by the City of Atlanta for 20 years and currently works as a Project Manager for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world's busiest airport.  Chiquetta has worked in various capacities within project management that include Orable implementation, citywide budget redevelopment, budget implementation, and various technology initiatives.

Chiquetta enjoys traveling and running races throughout the city.

Vision

As Secretary of the world's 3rd largest PMI chapter, my vision is to help ensure information is accurately and properly documented and maintained so that the Atlanta Chapter can continue to maintain its reputation and integrity within the industry.
